Special Experience Sharing Event from KB PRASAC Bank and Good Neighbors Cambodia
On the afternoon of January 8, 2025, Korea Software HRD Center in collaboration with KB PRASAC Bank and Good Neighbors Cambodia held a special experience sharing event for all the 12th generation Advanced Course students. The event was attended by three senior students, who are currently working at KB PRASAC Bank. During the event, the senior students gave helpful advice on how to do well at work and grow fast in career. They talked about how to choose the right company based on individual abilities, preparing for job interviews, and adapting to workplace culture.There was also a Q&A session, where students asked questions and got detailed answers from the speakers. The event ended with a group photo.

The Scholarship Entrance Exam for IT Training Professional of 13th Generation for 2025 Academic year of Korea Software HRD Center
On Saturday afternoon, December 21, 2024, Korea Software HRD Center held an Entrance Exam for ITE 13th Generation Scholarship Academic Year 2025 at Asia Euro University’s gold building. The exam was chaired by Mr. Chen Phirum, deputy director of Korea Software HRD Center as the organizer of the exam committee and all staff as the exam committee members. The candidates came from many universities in Cambodia. The Exam ended with success, accuracy and transparency.Korea Software HRD Center is an academy training center for training software professionals in Cambodia and provides IT scholarships training from 80 to 100 students every year. All students can apply from September to December. The Entrance Exam will be conducted in December and we will start preliminary learning from February of the academic year.

On December 16th 2024, Korea Software HRD Center has organized a seminar on job opportunities for 12th generation Advanced Course at the Cambodia-Korea Cooperation Center (CKCC), attended by representatives of IT companies, government institutions, and partner banks.In this job fair, presentations were made by companies about their background, the vacant job positions, its responsibilities and the benefits the candidates will receive, as well.It should also be noted that Korea Software HRD Center is a leading center in the training of IT professionals in the Cambodia, and at the end of each course, the center tends to organize job fairs with many technology companies to help secure job opportunities for the successful students graduating from Korea Software HRD Center
Annual workshop to present the performance and achievements of 2024 and the strategic plan for 2025
On December 13 and 14, 2024 the Korea Software HD Center, a project of Foundation for Korea Software Global Aid(KSGA) in collaboration with KOSIGN, organized the 2024 annual workshop to show about the performance and achievement of 2024 and strategic plan for 2025 with the participation of Mr. Chen Phirum, Deputy Director of Korea Software HRD Center and Foundation for Korea Software Global Aid , All staff of Korea Software HD Center along with Mr.Seol Wookhwan, CEO of KOSIGN, as well as all KOSIGN management and staff. In the workshop, the top management was delivering the speech to thank all the staff for their hard work and achievements this year. In addition, there were also presentations from managers of all parts on the Performance result and achievements of this year and the strategic plan for next year.Moreover, there were also awards to outstanding staff and held the team spirit activities in order to strengthen the friendship, solidarity and relation among all staff.

On December 06, 2024 the Korea Software HD Center hosted a Homecoming Event with the participation of Mr. Seok Chang Kue, Chairman of Webcash Group, main sponsor of the Korea Software HRD Center, Mr. Kim Han-Soo Director, Dr. Kim Taekyung Advisor and former director, Mr. Chen Phirum, Deputy Director, of Korea Software HRD Center, staff and alumni from the 12 generations of Korea Software HRD Center,, universities professor and VIPs from Korea as well as top management and staff of KOSIGN.At the event, Mr. Seok Chang Kue expressed his proudness for the success and contribution of Korea Software HRD Center, which has trained many skill-full human resources over the past 12 years. There was also the congratulatory remark from Mr. Kim Han-Soo to all the alumni who have graduated and achieved in their careers. He also thanked Mr. Seok Chang Kue, for supporting the Korea Software HRD Center from the beginning to the present and many more years in the future. He also showed the high appreciation to KB Bank of Korea which provides more sponsor to increase the capacity of the training in Korea Software HRD Center.Dr. Kim Taekyung also expressed his happiness and advice to add students especially fresh graduate to be ready for good career. In addition, there was the special show by Korean traditional and modern dancers to make event more memorable. The event was very joyful and meaningful with dancing, lucky draw and photo shoot as well.
Closing Ceremony for the 12th Generation Advanced Course 2024
Phnom Penh: On Thursday, December 05th, 2024, at the Phnom Penh Hotel, Korea Software HRD Center held a Closing Ceremony for the Advanced Course of 2024, to showcase seven projects that the students have worked on. Joining this event is the Minister of Telecommunications His Excellency Dr. Chea Vandeth, the Korean Ambassador to Cambodia, Chairman of Webcash Group Mr. Seok Chang Kue, Director of Korea Software HRD Center Mr. Kim Han-Soo and the administrators, instructors and the 12th generation students of Korea Software HRD Center. In addition, professors from leading universities in South Korea, partner companies and representatives from local and international companies that invest in information technology, were also participating in the event. During the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Chea Vandeth expressed his gratitude to Korea Software HRD Center for contributing to the training and development of human resources in digital technologies.Moreover, Mr. Kim Han-Soo, Director of Korea Software HD Center, gave a detailed progress report on the achievements and successes of the center over the past 12 years, while congratulating all the graduates. , Furthermore, professor Kim Dae-Shik, neuro science researcher of KAIST, the leading science university in South Korea, also stated that, the researching and developing AI technology is just starting recently worldwide. So even the under-developed countries also be able to get this new technology. He believed that the graduated students of Korea Software HRD Center also has the ability to challenge with other countries and develop this technology to another level.Likewise, the Korean Ambassador to Cambodia and the Chairman of Webcash Group, Mr. Seok Chang Kue, has also expressed their appreciation for the student’s hard work and commended them for successfully completing all seven projects. 12th Generation Advance Course: Monthly Party and Sport Event for Team build-up
On August 24, 2024, Korea Software HRD Center held a sports event and monthly party for 12th Generation Advance Course Students for August 2024. The Sports Event was organized for the purpose of building solidarity, friendship, and staying healthy with the participants of all staff and students from 12th Generation Advance Course.We also had additional games and photo sessions together at the end of the Sport Event. Everyone also had BBQ dinner together. The event was going smoothly and was full of entertainment.

On August 13, 2024, Korea Software HRD Center held a special lecture on topic “ Artificial Intelligence Meets Quantum Computing” at the Cambodia-Korea Cooperation Center (CKCC) with participation from Mr. Chen Phirum, Deputy Director of Korea Software HRD Center and shared by Mr. Kea Kimleang, the Korea Software HRD Alumni and the master graduated student at Pukyong National University in South Korea as well as instructors and the students of the 12th Generation Advanced Course of Korea Software HRD Center.The lecture explained about Quantum Computing process using AI technology, the mindset of AI, pros and con of the AI and preparation for AI era. Moreover, he also shared the self-experience to motivate students to study hard and succeed like him and followed by an extensive Q&A session and a photo shoot at the end of the event.
