14th Generation Student Trip Workshop
The purpose of this trip is to create memories and enhance friendships, as well as providing an opportunity for all students to relax and recharge after their hard work from the past 5months of research and successful implementation of their projects. Korea Software HRD Center wished all the students the best of luck for Advanced Course as well as achieving their next goal and career.
Closing Ceremony of Korea Software HRD Center’s 14th Generation Basic Course
The event featured presentations of six projects developed by students from the Korea Software HRD Center. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Seok Chang Kue, Chairman of Webcash Group, Mr. Kim Hyun Rae, Deputy CEO of KB Prasac Bank, Mr. Kim Han-Soo, Director, and Mr. Chin Phirom, Deputy Director of the Korea Software HRD Center; Mr. Seol Wookhwan, CEO of KOSIGN, Dr. Kim Tae Kyung, Professor at Chungbuk National University, representatives from well-known technology companies from the Republic of Korea, head of of information technology faculties from various universities in Cambodia, representatives from local and international IT investment companies, various cooperative partners, instructors and all the Basic Course students, totaling 150 participants. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kim Han-Soo, Director of the Korea Software HRD Center, gave a detailed presentation on the center's past achievements and successes, and congratulated all the graduating students. Furthermore, Mr. Seok Chang Kue, Chairman of Webcash Group, expressed his gratitude and congratulations for the perseverance and hard work of the students who successfully completed these six projects. He also highlighted the rapid changes in the digital sector driven by the AI revolution, which requires the center to shift its vision from being a software training center to becoming the first AI training center in Cambodia. He added that he will invest in and provide support for certain equipment (such as GPUs and AI Tools) for students to practice building LLM models and other models. Meanwhile, Mr. Kim Hyun Rae, Deputy CEO of KB Prasac Bank, also expressed his delight at the students' hard work that led to these excellent results. At the end of the program, there was an award presentation for the winning student teams, a commemorative photo session, and a dinner gathering.
